Daily Breakfast Recipe : Souffle Pancake

During my days at home because of the covid-19, I get so much inspiration from YouTube cooking videos. So I try some of the recipe while spending my time working at home. So this time I will share my attempt cooking of souffle pancake. Basically it is a pancake in softer and thinker version. So let’s start the cooking.

Ingredients :

  • 2 eggs room temperature (separated between the white and yolk)
  • 1 tbsp of milk
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp sugar
The ingredients

First of all, beat the egg yolks, milk, vanilla extract, then add the flour and baking powder that has been sieved.

First batter

Then in other bowl, using mixer, whisk the white eggs, then gradually put in the sugar into the bowl, then whisk for about 3 minutes

After that, put some of the meringue into the first batter, then mix it. Do it until all mix together.

Ready to cook

Put some cooking oil in the medium low heat pan, wipe the oil excess using paper towel. Then put some of the batter into it. While cooking, you can spray some water into the pan, and close the lid.

Put the lid on, it helps the cooking process of pancake

You can serve your pancake after it cooked evenly. Put some honey or maple syrup on it or some topping you like.
